The gold tinted Karri bark, leaf litter, mushrooms, ants, beetles, grasshoppers, and butterflies, little fallen flower blossoms...this series is one set of three paintings on this theme. The impasto oil technique and impressionistic brush strokes reflect my emotional response . I used the Art Spectrum Australian colour range for these paintings to give the depth and vibrancy of the natural environment.
