I was inspired to paint Jim Morrison of the famed rock band 'The Doors', as a small boy. Driving in his parents' car, through the desert, they came upon a crash site.  The spirits of the deceased Indians entered his body, and guided his destiny. Jim tell this story on the album 'American  Prayer'.
