Iconic street of terrace houses on a bright sunny winter’s day. One of my favourite things to paint is the deep shadows and warm sunlight creating blocks and angles of contrast. The old weathered timber and wrought iron, overgrown gardens, tangle of powerlines and juxtaposed modern and  old buildings of the city fringe epitomise the eclectic mix of architecture.
 
A small, detailed and realist painting, perfect to bring interest and warmth to an empty corner, or group together with other similar sized and themed paintings.
Acrylic on canvas, with liquitex gloss finish, black-painted edges. Ready to hang.
