Oil paint on masonite, framed in natural toned wood, Central Java, Indonesia inspired this artwork where the Wayang puppet theatre expresses traditional stories  like the Ramayana, but sometimes also contemporary themes. The Mask in the painting reflects my experience as an expat living in a culture sometimes different from my own.
